Baseline survey and site visit in Muar, Johor
Date: 25th March 2021
The project team conducted a baseline survey via focus group discussion (FGD) with farmers, in a group of five respondents, in Muar, Johor.
The farmers cultivate a local variety of taro called 'Keladi Mawar'. Data from surveys and interviews were recorded in MS Excel for further actions. The project team also went to visit two taro cultivation areas in Pagoh operated by a young farmer, Mr. Akmal, who also cultivates the local variety 'Keladi Mawar'.
