Project progress meeting
Date: 8th July 2021
The BSF-Taro project progress meeting was held via Zoom to provide updates on the work carried out to date by project partners.
The progress meeting was held with country partners participating from Indonesia, Phiilippines and Malaysia alongside CABI.

CABI gave an overall overview of the progress to date and what the upcoming activities for the second half of the year would entail. The overview was for the baseline survey, and upcoming activities was for the training manuals, training of trainers(ToT) and farmer field schools (FFS).

Country partners presented on the work carried out to date which revolve mainly on the baseline survey activities centred around farmer questionnaires and key informant interviews. Details of the presentations would be added later.

CABI updated on the baseline analysis results and provided insights into the data. The was also the presentation on the website and taro database as part of the communications component.

Other items discussed involved the transfer of germplasm materials and budgetary and finance matters.
